Abstract | This issue of "Diversity Digest" grows out of one recent effort to raise the visibility of science in diversity and global learning initiatives. Articles in this issue include: (1) Science, Diversity, and Global Learning: Untangling Complex Problems (Kevin Hovland); (2) Breaking the Pyramid: Putting Science in the Core (Darcy Kelley); (3) Science and Citizenship: Habits of Mind for Global Understanding (Grant H. Cornwell); (4) Geologic Science for Global Citizenship: Under the Radar, but on the Web (Garth Massey and James D. Myers); (5) Science and Global Learning at Carnegie Mellon University (Michael J. West and Indira Nair); (6) Connecting Global Learning and Science Education in the General Education Curriculum (Harvey Charles); (7) Science, Gender, and the Environment (Lori Bettison-Varga and Charles Kammer); (8) Seeing the World around You (Daniel Utley); and (9) Developing a Scalable, Sustainable Campus Diversity Initiative (Susan G.
