AbstractThis article features the 14 winners of the 2008 Campus Technology Innovators. This article offers an insider's view of the winners' campus technology initiatives, their project leads, and vendor partners jointly recognized for a unique ability to advance teaching, learning, administration, and operation on North American college and university campuses. The winners are: (1) Abilene Christian University for its mobile learning program; (2) Bryant University for its emergency preparedness program; (3) Ohio Dominican University for its network security program; (4) University of Nebraska-Lincoln for its social networking for admissions program; (5) The College of William & Mary for its tablet PCs program; (6) Worcester Polytechnic Institute for its Enhanced Learning/Assessment program; (7) Cuyahoga Community College for its business intelligence program; (8) Furman University for its interactive, remote learning program; (9) Harford Community College for its student advising technology program; (10) Ball State University for its digital media training and support program; (11) Ball State University for its virtual world learning program; (12) California State University, Fullerton for its Web Conferencing/Blended Learning program; (13) Texas A&M University for its collaboration tools program; and (14) University of Northern Iowa for its high-performance computing program.
