Abstract | Examines characteristics of traditional indigenous education of Aboriginal Australians and the discriminatory and inappropriate education introduced by Europeans. Discusses aspects of Aboriginal learning style (holistic, imaginal, kinesthetic, cooperative, contextual, person-oriented).
