Abstract | An American Association of University Professors report finds the highest one-year gains (above inflation) in over a decade in faculty's "real salaries" in 1997-98. While salaries have not returned to 1970s predecline levels, the generally upward trend is continuing. The report also compares faculty salaries with those of others at similar educational levels in other professions. (MSE) |
