Abstract | Case-study methodology was used to investigate factors that promote or inhibit the completion of the doctoral dissertation among nontraditional-aged women students (five students with all requirements but the dissertation and six doctoral graduates) in education or science. The study's conceptual framework, methods, population, and results are presented, and recommendations are made for all important players in the dissertation process. (MSE) |
