Abstract | Five studies involving 406 preschoolers (ages 41-68 months) investigated the effectiveness of instruction in personal safety. Results indicate that preschoolers who participated in the Behavioral Skills Training Program demonstrated greater knowledge and higher levels of personal safety skills compared with controls. No gender or age differences were found. (Author/CR) |
