Abstract | An annual ranking of the top 100 colleges conferring degrees on ethnic minorities finds almost 20,000 more African Americans received bachelor's degrees in 1995 than in 1991, a 30.2% increase. Women have been driving this increase, with double the gains of men over that period. About 28% of the new African American graduates attend historically black institutions. (MSE) |
