Abstract | An Earlham College (Indiana) student's lawsuit charging the college with responsibility for her rape during a Japanese study-abroad program tests the legality of the waiver students sign before leaving. The student claims the waiver is not the issue, but the need for colleges to protect students facing sexual harassment. She says the college responded inadequately to her complaints. (MSE) |
