| Abstract | Examines perspectives from 20 adolescent immigrants on emigration from the former U.S.S.R. and their educational experiences in an Israeli high school. Findings include evidence that they are confident of their past educational experience and imported skills and view them as relevant in their new environment. Perspectives are also provided on career planning, peer relationships, and becoming an Israeli. (GR) |
