Abstract | This year's Gallup Poll respondents see inadequate funding as public schooling's biggest problem. Nearly half (47%) positively evaluated public school performance. About 70% feel that values education is important; 75% disagree with last year's Supreme Court ruling declaring government-sanctioned prayer at public school commencement ceremonies unconstitutional. Currently, 56% favor public school choice. (MLH) |
