Abstract | Rural Chicanas' goals and expectations are restricted to traditionally accepted female pursuits; the growing proportion in the labor force occupy low skill-pay-status jobs. To raise expectations, Chicanas must be able to obtain an education and skills to achieve equality. Eight recommendations to address specific needs are listed. (LC) |
