Abstract | Identifies problems and contradictions which are inherent in social science teaching in India, as they are in all developing nations. A major problem is a search for indigenous theoretical models to replace models developed by colonial and other industrial nations. Merits of an interdisciplinary approach are stressed. (DB) |
