Abstract | Hypothesizes that the study of social sciences can help university students become more effective in social participation and can help them understand laws, perceive patterns of social development, and evaluate social action. Cuba is discussed as a case study of a nation in which social sciences emphasize participation in a communist socioeconomic system. (DB) |
