Abstract | The author takes exception to an article, "No Homework: A Student's Right" (Clearing House, Feb 1978, p278-81) and presents the advantages of homework. In a lighthearted vein, he calls "homework" a misnomer and suggests relabeling it as Optimum Operative Post Instruction Reinforcement of Cognitive Activity (OOPIROCA). (SJL) |
