Abstract | This study evaluated the role of Nigerian print media in bringing the health hazards of noise pollution to public awareness through the presentation of stories. "The Guardian," "Punch," and "Vanguard" newspapers were content analyzed to ascertain the framing, volume, prominence, frequency, and genre of noise pollution articles published from June 2020 to July 2021. Seven (n = 7) articles on noise pollution were published within the period studied. Solution and effect frames were dominant as five articles mentioned the health effects of noise pollution. The results were inadequate to create public awareness of the health hazards of noise by Nigerian print media. (As Provided). |
