Abstract | Purpose: Study fits JEBS category "innovative instructional classroom projects/best practices" by exploring questions in the literature about perceptions of Realism in strategy simulation. Findings: First, student survey found that perceptions about Realism were lower than perceptions about Interface and Comprehension. Second, content analysis revealed teaching method to improve Realism reported lacking in the literature. Limitations: Convenience sample of one university and one simulation, Glo-Bus# were used. Value: For strategy simulations to have optimal impact, student perceptions of Realism are important; therefore, teaching methods must be informed by this type of analysis. (As Provided). |
