Abstract	In this article, the author opines that bell hooks' deepest, most complex contribution to antiracist teaching is her 2001 book "All About Love: New Visions" rather than titles such as "Teaching to Transgress: Education as the Practice of Freedom" (1994) or "Teaching Community: A Pedagogy of Hope" (2003). The author believes that this text is rarely ever presented as one for educators because it speaks more generally to relationships between and among people. Yet, while hooks does not directly engage with educators in this text like she does her others, the lessons about love and its place in antiracist teaching are significant. The author asks: what is the work of love, and how do we apply love to our teaching?; believing that these are critical questions if one is looking to be an antiracist educator. (ERIC).
