Abstract | Skill-related fitness is broken down into six different components; agility, speed, power, balance, coordination, reaction time. These skill-related components are movements that are necessary for an individual to successfully demonstrate a variety of motor skills and movement patterns. While essential, these skill-related components of fitness are not employed and emphasized routinely in the physical education setting yet can be extremely enjoyable for students. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to describe and outline various activities that can be integrated in the physical education setting to focus on skill-related components of fitness.
