AbstractIn the present scenario managerial skills are required in every sphere of life. With the increase in the number of management education institutes these days, quality of knowledge imparted in these institutes has become a subject of debate. Quality is vital for every customer and their requirements cannot be ignored. No sector in the economy is the exception to this phenomenon, however educational institutions are yet to recognise this market force. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of different teaching and learning methods used for management courses by aligning them with the learning outcomes. The study employs quality function deployment (QFD) approach, a proven tool in inculcating the customer needs in the end product. A sample of 336 students from Indian Universities was chosen for the study. The present study finds that best learning methods for management courses as experiential learning, project-based learning, fieldwork, simulation and games and problem-based learning. (As Provided).
