AbstractThis study aims to examine options to increase the supportive power of parents, teachers, school administrators, and counselors who directly interact with children and adolescents and have a fundamental responsibility to protect them from the risks of substance abuse and evaluate the effectiveness of associated training programs. The study design is a cross-section survey with a total sample 45,807 participants (13,973 primary and secondary school teachers, 601 school administrators, 429 counselors, and 30,804 parents). For each group, specialized educational programs were prepared according to the assumed information needs and implemented accordingly. At the end of the implementation, each group was asked to evaluate the degree to which they benefitted from their own program. When the sample group responses pertaining to the education they received, it was found that in general when the overall education was examined, no responses fell below 90% where 99.58% found the educational programs "very beneficial" and 90.43% found the educational programs "beneficial".
