| Abstract | Michael W. Allen, the Chairman and CEO of Allen Interactions, is an architect of interactive multimedia learning and is recognized for his many insights, inventions, and presentations. With over 50 years of experience in e-learning, both in academic and corporate settings, he is known for his role in creating Authorware and overseeing the work of his studios at Allen Interactions. This article documents Allen's responses to questions posed by "Educational Technology" contributing editor, Michael Shaughnessy. Among the topics discussed are: "ZebraZapps Pro" Content Authoring Platform, e-learning, simple code-free visual interface, parameters of "engaging and meaningful content without limitations," building blocks for better e-learning content, "ZebraZapps Pro" compared to Prezi, the role of social engagement apps and games, specs of "ZebraZapps Pro," new templates, Event Flow screens, Project Properties, SCORM-Compliant Learning Management System (or a Tin Can Learning Record Store), and App and Gadget Shopps.
