Abstract | Leaders in schools today have a crucial responsibility to employ school reform and restructure initiatives for the betterment of the student. This study sought educators' perceptions of administrative leadership throughout school restructuring. The survey design assisted in connecting educators, levels of administrator's leadership, and school restructuring. The information reported within this study can be added to the field of education to improve policies and procedures and implementation of school restructuring across the country. Quantitative and numeric description of the attitudes, opinions, and trends of the chosen population yielded results that will impact the educational arena significantly. The research is based on measurable features found in the literature that can develop into useful data. Factors of demographics and preferred leadership styles were examined during this study and used to report recommendations for future research. Significant results were discovered in this study. Almost all of the educators reported that the need for school reform is important to educators locally, statewide, and nationally at a rate of 91%. The collaborative leadership style was preferred by 92% of the educators. Building administrators were instrumental to the restructuring process by 82% as compared to superintendents at 56%. Overall, 75% of educators perceived that administrators in their current school districts have been effective during school restructuring. Recommendations for future studies included study on years of service, the turnaround model for school restructuring, success of Blue Ribbon schools, and the comparison of additional leadership styles. By examining these factors, others in the field of education can potentially expound upon educators' perceptions of administrators during school restructuring.
