Abstract	The purpose of this report is to identify the place of class attendance of Nova Southeastern University students from Calendar Year 1995 to Calendar Year 2005. This report provides a year-by-year summary and it also highlights place of class attendance changes over time. Extant data from University records were used to prepare this report. The University's total calendar year enrollment (unduplicated headcount enrollment for the entire calendar year, January 1 to December 31) increased by 65 percent from Calendar Year 1995 (22,221 students) to Calendar Year 2005 (36,603 students), for a net gain of 14,382 students during this time period. The area of greatest gain in calendar year student enrollment was Broward County, where the University's main campus is located. Enrollment in Broward County increased from 11,870 students in Calendar Year 1995 to 24,402 students in Calendar Year 2005, for a net gain of 12,532 students or an overall increase of 106 percent. The net gain of 12,532 students in Broward County represented 87 percent of the University's total net gain of 14,382 students from Calendar Year 1995 to Calendar Year 2005 (12,532/14,382 = 87 percent). Although the University maintains Student Educational Centers throughout Florida, the University's enrollment in other Florida locations outside of the tri-county South Florida area (Broward County, Miami-Dade County, and Palm Beach County) declined by 7 percent between Calendar Year 1995 (3,580 students) and Calendar Year 2005 (3,319 students), for a net loss of 261 students. This report also highlights similar enrollment shifts in other states and international locations. A better understanding of these enrollment changes will help faculty members and administrators plan for the optimal allocation of personnel, resources, and capital expenditures. Interested readers may also want to review the annual series of Fact Books prepared by the Office of Research, Planning, and Governmental Affairs enrollment breakout information by academic center, which is beyond the scope of this report.
