Abstract | "Catalyst" is a publication designed to assist higher education in developing alcohol and other drug prevention polices and programs that will foster students' academic and social development and promote campus and community safety. Issue 1 of volume 6 introduces a series of "Presidential Profiles" in which university presidents describe their efforts to advance alcohol and other drug prevention efforts on their campuses and surrounding communities. In this issue, the profile is of Karen W. Morse, president of Western Washington University. Also in this issue are: (1) "Sexual Harassment Case Law Update: Implications for College Campuses" (Joel C. Epstein); (2) "Illegal Drugs on Campus"; (3) "Research on Women's Drinking" (H. Wesley Perkins); (4) "The Future of Prevention on College Campuses: Message from the Director" (William Dejong); and (5) "Network of Colleges and Universities." Issue 3 of volume 6 contains: (6) "Campuses and the Club Drug Ecstasy" (Amy Powell); (7) "Understanding the Jeanne Clery Disclosure Act" (Joel C. Epstein); (8) "What's Up with the Grantees?"; (9) "David P. Roselle, the University of Delaware" (Presidential Profiles"; (10) "Reflections on Social Norms Marketing" (William Dejong); (11) "Network Outstanding Service and Visionary Awards, 2000"; and (12) "Regional Environmental Management Think Tanks in Pennsylvania."
