Abstract	The eighth grade unit in Ukrainian as a second language, the second in a series, is designed as a teacher's guide for use in Alberta secondary schools. The unit duration is approximately 15-20 lessons. An introductory section outlines the structures and vocabulary used in the unit and contains a dialogue in Ukrainian. A series of exercises follows, focusing on conjugation of verbs, expression of completed action, Expression of Immediate Future, Asking and telling about possession, using the accusative case with a direct object, answering in the negative, asking cost, and expressing a reason in response to a question. Appended materials include reproducible visual aids and an answer key. (MSE)
