Part one, Planning, Try-out and Evaluation of Educational Materials, covers evaluating needs, planning and budgeting, manuscript preparation, and trial editions. Part two, The Production Process, discusses editing and editorial management, paper procurement, production of printed materials, and pre-qualification procedures for printers and printing costs. Warehousing and Distribution, part three, discusses educational materials distribution, and book promotion and marketing.
