| Abstract | This guide outlines procedures for vocational administrators and teachers to use in setting up and working with general occupational advisory committees and specialized occupational advisory committees. The guide covers the following topics: nature of the committees; procedures for selecting, appointing, and using advisory committee members; and how to conduct meetings. Resources are provided for each of these topics in extensive appendixes. The appendixes contain sample letters, an advisory committee members' handbook, and a sample certificate of appreciation.
