Abstract | The booklet provides information on employment, training, and supportive services available to migrant and seasonal farmworkers as they travel from their homebase states to their destination in the Midwestern and Central states of Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Alabama, and Georgia. Information is provided on the kinds of program activities and services available for purposes of referral by the following 13 organizations: Midwest Association of Farmworker Organizations; ORO Development Corporation; Harvest America Corporation; Nebraska Association of Farmworkers, Inc.; North Dakota Rural Development Corporation; Minnesota Migrant Council; South Dakota Migrant Council; United Migrant Opportunity Services, Inc.; Illinois Migrant Council; FENICS, Inc. (AMOS); Michigan Economics for Human Development; La Raza Unida de Ohio; and Federation of Southern Cooperatives. The booklet includes the following information for each organization: a brief description of the organization, the administrative and area offices, eligibility criteria, services offered, special programs, and program activities.
