Abstract | Results of a survey conducted in 1980 by the Women's Opportunities Network of the University of Georgia are presented. The survey was designed to identify the character'; characteristics and needs of nontraditional women students and to help guide the development of programs and activities that would benefit this group. In addition to providing data on the survey sample and specifying limitations of the survey form, which is appended, the statistical results of the research are presented in tabular form. These data include information on respondent characteristics, educational and employment background, field of study, student plans, methods of financing their education, study habits and participation in community and campus extracurricular activities, and problems with school.
