| Abstract | This survey was designed to complement the information obtained in previous surveys by concentrating on two categories of courses: new courses since the previous survey (12 undergraduate and two short courses) and courses which had lost their television repeats since the previous survey (23 undergraduate courses). The aims of this survey were to assist policy making and planning in the broadcasting area, and the decision making of the Broadcast Sub-Committee; and to furnish individual course teams with summative evaluation data on broadcasting. The survey dealt only with such questions as broadcast usage and appreciation in individual courses and not with general questions such as students' access to the media. Questionnaires were mailed in November, immediately after the end of the examination period, and up to two reminders were sent to students who did not return their questionnaires. Part one of this document contains the text of the survey, while appendices with tables and questionnaires are included in the second part. (Author/JEG) |
