| Abstract | This guide is designed to provide adult education administrators, teachers, and aides with materials to facilitate the personal and career planning process of their students, specifically in a mutual group support environment. A series of suggested activities promoting the goal of lifelong learning includes the following exercises: (1) group bonding; (2) values clarification; (3) lifeline examination; (4) self assessment; (5) skills assessment; and (6) goal setting. Sample evaluation forms and a bibliography are also provided. Although this program was originally targeted for adult basic education settings, the exercises are equally useful with other educational levels. (Author/HLM) |
