Abstract	Full- and part-time enrollment information for Canadian universities during the 1976-77 academic year is tabulated in this report. Information is also presented about degrees, diplomas, and certificates granted at the institutions in 1976. Data were collected from two surveys of all degree-granting institutions in Canada and are presented in two parts. Series A presents information on 1976-77 enrollments by province, registration status, institution, level (bachelors, masters, doctoral), program of study, age, and marital status. Summer enrollment figures for 1976 are also provided. Series B tables contain data on degrees, diplomas, and certificates awarded in 1977 by province, institution, level, sex, specialization, and field of study. Total university enrollment in 1976-77 (563,310) indicates an increase of 2.0 percent over 1975-76. Both full- and part-time enrollments increased. The number of women students also increased in 1976-77. Annual variations in degree levels; geographic distribution; and distribution by program of study, student citizenship, and specialization are also discussed. (SF)
