| Abstract | This report is concerned with the underrepresentation of women on the faculty and staff of Stanford University's Medical School and it proposes methods to equalize the status of these women and increase the number of women medical students. Included are appendices on recent activities at the university related to the education and employment of women; a selected bibliography on the changing roles of women in work and society; a report on the status of women in Sweden; an article on population policy; a report on women faculty in medical schools; a proposal for a child care center at Stanford; and a proposal for Stanford's Medical Office for Women's Affairs.
