Abstract | This study was designed to seek a solution to a common concern of postsecondary vocational technical institutions in five states, namely, the remuneration of educational personnel. The five states included in the survey had similar characteristics and conditions, and shared the problems of competition for capable staff and the availability of financial resources. The Research Coordinating Unit (RCU) director in each state assumed the responsibility for disseminating, retrieving, and forwarding data information to the Nebraska RCU, and the analysis and summarization took place at the Nebraska Technical College at Milford, utilizing personnel and computerized equipment from that institution. Tables compiled show the area of specialization and salary criteria for each of the five states participating in the study. (Author) |
