Abstract | In response to a growing concern with the quality of health care in this country, this conference met to discuss: (1) the role of junior colleges in training medical technicians, (2) the importance of uniformity in the core curriculum, (3) new occupations and changing job requirements, (4) the need for cooperation and coordination between agencies, and (5) the development of better programs for placement, recruiting, and teacher education. This report includes the 19 papers presented at the 3-day conference. (BH) |
