Abstract | This survey is based on clearly enunciated hypotheses with regard to the structure of our society, its probable development, and how we would like it to be. The introduction presents the purpose of the book. Section II attempts to outline the position of society and of education. Those reactions that obstruct change and which have to be explained in anthropological terms also form part of this initial situation. Section III states the objectives from the standpoint of principles, institutions, content, and methods. Section IV offers a few suggestions on how the proposed objectives can be approached. The conclusion draws attention to the political problems involved in such a prospective study. (NL) |
