Abstract	This report examines the College Discovery and Development Program, which seeks (1) to identify underachieving disadvantaged high school students with college potential, (2) to increase their academic motivation, (3) to improve their scholastic achievement, (4) to develop their acceptance of college study as a realistic expectation for themselves, and (5) to facilitate their college success. The report, which includes specialized topical essays, details the characteristics of the third year group of participants at intake, their aptitude and previous achievement, the effects of the summer program, achievement and attendance, guidance services, college consultants, and graduation and college acceptance.
