Abstract	The report was comprised of 22 papers presented by US and foreign home economists at a conference held in July 1965 at Iowa State University. The meeting was planned to serve the interests of those who train foreign students in US universities and those who plan to work in home economics programs abroad. The international aspects and priorities of home economics were explored, with particular emphasis on Latin American and African programs. Presentations considered new viewpoints on the role of home economics in developing countries; internationalization of graduate education and research in this country for foreign students and US citizens who plan to work abroad; cross-cultural understanding in technical assistance programs to provide for mutually rewarding interchange between developed and developing nations. Other topics were the status, changing role and greater potential of women; development of programs in the US, Latin America and Africa that are geared to contribute realistically to community or national economy; potentials in the development of international university curricula and human resources through overcoming barriers to communication; and future challenges. The conference summary stressed key words: problems, progress, education, research, understanding, humanism, language, ingenuity, and bold approach. Also included were symposium and panels' statements as well as a summary of work group reports. (WM)
