Research procedure included (1"0 pretesting and post-testing with Gates Reading Survey and an especially designed Reading Attitude Inventory, (2) on-site classroom observations, (3) interviews with teachers, students, and administrators, and (4) examination and cataloging of materials purchased as well as techniques used in their classroom implementation. Findings, conclusions, and implications of the research are listed. (WB) |
