Abstract | Das Hausaufgabenheft hat heute oft institutionalisierte Formen angenommen. Nowadays the homework diary often appears in an institutionalized form. Designed and distributed by schools, it becomes part of a student's school equipment as so called "school planner", which is supposed to be used both in classrooms and at home. With an ethnographic approach this article illuminates the school planner as a practice of school and family by examining the functions incorporated into the planner by means of its design and by analyzing its practical use in the classroom as well as in the family. As the practice demonstrates, the one-sided communication of school-related rules and expectations intended in the school planner is implemented in a contradictory manner. |
