AbstractAt the present stage of development of society higher education system deals with the problem of training of professionally mobile staff, which is one of the most important branch of physical culture and sport. It is noted in the National Doctrine of Education in the Russian Federation. Proceeding from the results of analysis of literature sources, official documents, public opinion polls on the issue of research, the professional mobility can be determined as a meta-professional personal quality, which is displayed in the willingness and ability of a person to change profession (retraining), specialty, his job instructions, workplace; ability to quickly adapt to new socioeconomic environment and working conditions within the organization. In order to construct the concept of professional mobility of students of university of physical culture we have determined the fundamentals and prerequisites for the development of theoretical and methodological foundations of this phenomenon, that is, defined a set of pedagogical principles, which was the core of the developed concept. The conceptual foundations for the development of professional mobility of students of physical culture university are a system of scientific views and interpretations of the phenomenon of professional mobility, a set of principles and approaches, that determine the process of its development. A prerequisite for the effective development of professional mobility of students of physical culture university is the reliance on the system, synergistic, personality-centered and competency building approaches. Development of professional mobility should be based on the following principles: humanization of professional training; continuity of educational process; advanced nature of education; subjectivity; focus on fundamental knowledge formations; diversification; integration of modern learning technologies. Thus, we can say that the system of professional education is designed to train highly educated people and highly skilled specialists capable of professional development and professional mobility within the informatization of society and knowledge-intensive technologies.
