Abstract | Interviews with 24 faculty in a large public university investigated use of metaphors to analyze change in higher education organizations. Results indicate that strategic choices guiding the behavior of the organization and metaphorical images held by faculty about the organization show a high degree of congruence. Implications for change and maintenance of enacted realities in higher education organizations are discussed. (Author/MSE) |
