Abstract | Middle school and secondary mathematics teachers' (n=94) responses on the Attitude Instrument for Mathematics and Applied Technology were analyzed to determine relationships among personal philosophy, experience, and attitudes about calculator use. Interactions between mastery orientation (calculator use before versus after conceptual mastery) and experience were suggested. (Author/MKR) |
