| Abstract | Occupational therapists are continuously challenged to keep up with current concepts, theories, and research related to their specific area of practice. This review will highlight research related to the concepts of sensory integration and sensory processing as well as helpful websites, books and apps, in an attempt to facilitate a better understanding of each therapeutic approach.
