Abstract | This research, which was tried with 217 high school students, was carried out to determine the perceptions and attitudes related to the usage of bioenergy. The research results showed that the students had the perception that there would be lack of food due to global warming, but bioenergy would prevent the world from global warming. Moreover, they also assumed that forests are not sustainable in terms of global and local context. However, this study revealed that they had a tendency to learn and use bioenergy. It was also observed that there were different views between the male and female participants about the usage of wood and cutting trees down to produce energy. Finally, stepwise regression results showed that social environment affects one's environmental intent related to bioenergy use. (As Provided). |
