Abstract | In this article the lecture is examined as a teaching method. The elements of a good lecture are discussed as well as the negative aspects and pitfalls involved in using this means of instruction. Information is provided that may be helpful to instructors interested in improving the quality of their teaching with better lecturing techniques. (JD) |
