Abstract | The first part of the sixth volume in this series consists of a 116-item annotated bibliography of American doctoral dissertations in contrastive linguistics. The second part consists of six articles dealing with various aspects of Serbo-Croatian-English contrastive analysis. They are: "A Contrastive Analysis Evaluation of Conversion in English and Serbo-Croatian," by Zeljko Bujas; "Attributive Patterns for English Adjectives and their Contrastive Correspondents in Serbo-Croatian," by Vladimir Ivir; "Notes on Adjectives and Stress," by Wayles Browne; "'One': Its Forms and Uses," by Vjekoslav Suzanic; "Exclamatory Sentences with Linking Verbs in English and Serbo-Croatian," by Midhat Ridjanovic; and "Expressions of Simultaneity in English and Serbo-Croatian," by Mira Vlatkovic.
