Abstract | Examines the revised Taxonomy Table as a tool for instructional improvement, describing what counts as improved instruction and discussing how the revised Taxonomy can assist in instructional improvement efforts. The paper asserts that by working within the framework of the revised Taxonomy, teachers can increase the alignment of objectives, instruction, and assessment and raise the learning target. It also discusses the paradox of simplicity versus complexity in instructional improvement. (SM) |
