| Abstract | A librarian and faculty member collaborated on creating a library research module for students in the faculty member's college success classes to help them learn the fundamentals of information literacy. Using the assignment "My Ideal Job," the students met four or more times with the librarian in a computer classroom to learn how to do basic research for their topic and how to use the database citation generators. The faculty member required that the students assemble a portfolio of the articles found, summaries of those articles with citations, and an essay on their findings. (As Provided). |
