| Abstract | A follow-up study of recent graduates of the College of Education at the University of New Orleans was developed to continue the organized assessment program of the College. Information gathered by the investigation is intended to provide the basis for revision of the undergraduate teacher education program and the development of effective in-service programs for teachers. An instrument was designed to assess the importance of each objective in the work of the teacher and to determine how well the college program prepared the graduate to function in that area. Each graduate evaluated each item on two scales, adding comments about the program at the end of the instrument. The instructions and instrument are included, as are the ten program objectives which are the source of the thirty items of the follow-up instrument. (Author/GK) |
